Carpenter Township Association is beginning to think of their semi annual convention to be held this month. We earnestly hope that every township in the county will get in the way of holding two conventions each year. It is no great undertaking and it strengthens the work so much. Among the very last works of our Master were these “Go ye unto all the world and preach the] Gospel to every creature.” Sunday School workers what is our motion in doing this work. Those who work because some one else works or because they feel like it will surely fail sooner or later. Impulse will not answer for a basis for Christian work. Work from principle and pure love. When “The love of Christ constraineth us” and we work because we are in partnership with Christ we will never stop until he stops. Two things will distinguish those who are worthy to be classed as faithful Sunday School workers, profound reverence for the Word of God and sincere, genuine attachment to the person of Jesus Christ.
