The Meetings Closed.

The .revival meetings at the F. W. Baptist church, conducted by Rev. J. L. Meads, the evangelist, of Prairie City, 111, and Rev. D. A. Tucker, the pastor, closed Sunday evening. The meetings have resulted in 10 additions to the membership of the church, and in the conversion of quite a number of others, who will become members of other churches. A very noteworthy incident of Sunday evening’s meeting was the raising of $220, to apply on the church debt. At the same meeting, Rev. Tucker, the pastor, raised the sum of SOO as a testimonial to the evangelist, Mr. Meads. The latter has returned to Prairie City and will begin ft series of meetings there.
