Saturday’s Railroad Meeting.

The railroad meeting at J. EL Chapman’s office Saturday afternoon was well attended considering the short ness of the notice given. A. Leopold was chairman of the meeting and J. H. Chapman secretary. A strong disposition to keep the movement progressing was manifested. A committee to secure the right of way and subscriptions for survey, from Rensselaer to the county line, west of Francesville, by the Barkley route, was appointed, ns follows: Granville Moody, «J. W. Burgytt, Chns. Murray, Frank VVnrren, A. Parkison. Another committee for the same purpose, from Rensselaer towards Remington, consists of Wm. Washburn, W. M. Hoover, J. W. Pierce, Robt,. Michaels, Fred Wnymire. Yet andthor committee to work the Hanging Grove route, towards Frnncesville, is composed of J. T. Randle, J. W. Cowden, Austin Moore, Goo. B. Parkison. All theso committees are exacted to do their work and report results at anotln r meeting to be held next Saturday afternoon, at the same place. They will all cooperate with the city committee heretofore appointed Namely G. E. Murray, J. H. Chapman, E. L. Hollingsworth, A. Leopold, and J. F. Warren. The chairman and secretary were diroeted to notify other towns of the general meeting to be held hero on the 23rd, and to request them to be represented by delegations, armed with gunrantees.of survey funds and right of way.
