of his removal to his father’s fine farm, near Remington. - Jack Harris has leased the Niple farm in Jordan township, and will ! soon remove to that place. Mr. Florer. of White Co., is moving on the Coates farm, in Milrpy. Mr. Simons, of Kan., will occupy j the old George Foulks farm this year. I • Mri Warr has put in quite a lot of, tile on his farm in Milroy. Julian Wood is moving to Mr. Smith’s farm.
Mr. Becker, of Pulaski Co., has moved to the Robinson farm. Mr. Beaver has rented the Gouchil land and will turn sod this spring. Dave Worland attempted to leave Milroy but found he must apply for a pass before leaving South America. He has made application and will be free to move after Sept. Ist, next, to your town. Richard Wood is doing considerable wood sawing with his steam wood saw in these parts of Jasper. » Our old soldiers, namely Jacob Johns and Henry Beaver are enjoying excellent health this winter. The Coats ditch is giving general satisfaction, B. F. Swarts has 2 car loads of tile to plant on his farm this spring. A. G. W. Farmer will have one of the most commodious, roomy farm houses in this part of the county when completed. No pains have been spared to make it attractive and comfortable. John E. Brown and Mahlon Hinds are not going to Klondyke to get gold but are preparing for a good crop which will bring gold or its equivalent, for congress will surely adopt the Indianapolis resolutions, which insures a good price in good money. The above gentlemen oare nothing about the quantity of money: it is the kind. .
