GILLAM.
We are having some genuine winter weather at present. Uncle Elias. Faris is quite sick with LaGrippe, at the home of his son B. R. Faris. Simon Rowen traded bis farm for town property in Medaryville. Work on the new M. E. church at West Vernon has been postponed on account of unfavorable weather. George Logan will move on the T. H. Robinson farm soon. Quite a number of the Gillam people have been attending the revival meetings at Medaryville, conducted by Rev, Greenway assisted by Rev. Dempster of Canton, Ohio, an exCatholio priest and great good is being accomplished. Jesse Wilcox went to Lafayette Friday evening, returning Saturday, He was the guest of his uncle W. F. Osborne and family. E. Pullins and wife, Wm. Faris and wife, E. E. Faris and wife were Medaryville visitors Sunday. Chas. Mansfield bought the grocery store of Frank Reed in Medaryville and will take possession at once. His family will move in the near future.
