Public School Notes.
Mr. Straub, of the Straub Publishing House presented the High School with fifty music books. The books are being used now and are very well liked. Mr. Meads, the evangelist, gave a short talk to the High School Wednesday morning. Wednesday of last week Mr. Middleton addressed the High School. After numerating some opportunities that are given to the school children of today, he showed that opportunity means responsibility, and that the more advantages we are given the greater our responsibilities become. He urged that the scholars go as high and as far as possible in the line of education, but he also warned them of the ganger of trying to get everything and so failing to get anything.
