Miss Susie Black who has been dangerously ill with lung fever is improving., The Pie social given at Snow Flake was well attended: all reported a good time. Jaok Kneadler, who has been sick the past month, is able to be around again. Harry Gifford, George Fanson and Wm. Camp were in Rensselaer Tuesday. Quite a number of young folks from here attended the dance at Mr. J. Linzbach’s Tuesday evening, neer Rensselaer. Born, to Mr. and" Mrs. George Daniels, Tuesday, Jan. 18, 1898, a boy. Miss Mae Callahan of Rensselaer, was the guest of her parents Tuesday. Thos. Callahan returned from Chicago Tuesday; he has been in the hospital the past week having his foot doctored. •
