REMINGTON. •*' - . ■■ —• Miss Minnie Dickey is visiting her sister, Mrs. C. D. Carson. John Phelps shipped a car load of horses Tuesday Born—Sunday, Jan 23, to Prof, and Mrs. Murphy, a daughter. Wednesday, Jan. 19, to Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Allman, a son. Mrs. Brown has been quite sick the past few days. The illustrated lecture on Ben Hur Monday evening was exceedingly good, but no better than was expected from Mr. Sharpe. The pictures were exceptionally fine, the best that were ever in our town. Mrs. Allison visited in town last week. She returned to her home in Francesville Thursday. A series of meetings were commenced at the Christian church, Jan. 24. They are conducted by Elder Pounds of Indianapolis. Miss Perrin is expected to sing, at some of the meetings.
