McCOYSBURG.

Examination was held in the school last Thursday and Friday. Lust .Saturday night a curious man stayed ut the hotel. Ho was oddly dressed and very interrogating and was supposed, by some, to be' a detective looking after the interest of the rail road which are supposed to have been abused. Two wolves were seen by some of the hoys going home from school, in the pasture east of Mr. Ihdlengroen’s place. They gave them a short unsuccessful chase. There was a doctor from Chicago, who spent a -day here last week. He thinks of locating here in the near future and practising medicine. This would be a good location for some good physician us there is a large scope of territory and much medical aid is required whiuh must be sought, at quite an expense, from Morion or KensSeluer. McCoy & McDonald shipped seven car load of fat cattle and one load of sheep this week, A man from Jowa took supper at the hotel Wednesday evening. lie is negotiating for the Stock well farm southwest of here.
