Changes In The Fire Company.

The Rensselaer fire company hart a special meeting last night, at which important action was taken to adjust matters to the new conditions resulting from the institution of a waterworks system. The waterworks have been accepted so fur us applies to fire protection, and the new hose and hose carts, reels etc have been turned over to the care of the fire company. It is decided to divide the fire company into two divisions, and one division to keep a hose cart near the depot, and until a suitable place is provided it will be kept in the rear of NowelsSayler Lumber Company’s office. The members oF this depot division will bo, J. E. Hopkins, capt. John Hodsliire, nozzlemtui, J. R. Warren and .John Mann hydrant men, Urunr Hopkins, S H. Nor-, man. C. L. Thornton, E. L. Guy, members. For the other division, with headquarters *at the town hall, E. 0. Owen and Chas. Robinson ure made nozzlemen, and .Tack Knight and A. T. Perkinks hydrant men. The chemical engine will still, very properly be kept in service.
