The Tax Ferret Case.

The hearing of the tax ferret injunction case began Thursday forenoon, before Judge Truman T. Palmer, of Monticello. The counsel for the commissioners and Fleener & Carnahan are Judge W. F. Townsend, of Vincennes, and State’s Atty Chizum and Deputy C. W. Hanley. For Marion, the putative plaintiff in the proceedings, the-counsel are Hon. E. B. Sellers, of Monticello: W. B. Austin and Foltz, Spitler & Kurrie. The case is not concluded at the time we go to press.
