Obituary.

After a long hopeless and painful sickness Miss Emma Sohroer died Sunday morning Jan. 16 1898 at half past two o’clock. The cause of her death being consumption, of a little over a year’s duration. She was bom in Morgan Co. Ohio Nov. 20, 1872, Her age being 25 years 1 month and 21 day. , Her father and mother Mr. and John Sohroer, 1 sister, Ruth ain't two brothers, Frank and Mark still survive her. The deceased has lived in Barkley Tp., for the past 14 years. She was a member of the Christian church, with which she united a few years ago. The funeral was held at the Christian church in Rensselaer, Monday afternoon, Jan. 17th at 2 o’clock,* the religious services were con-' ducted by Rev. J. L. Brady. Interment in Weston cemetery.
