Mr. Nelson’s wife is sick, The Sunday school convention here last Sunday was a success and a very pleasant time was had. Representatives from Medaryville. Remington and Rensselaer were present. Thoi?e from Rensselaer were Rev. Brady, J. W. Williams and Chas. Porter and wife. Mr. William Arnott and Miss Hattie Eldridge were married at the Hotel, Christmas Dav and have taken up their residence in Stoutsburg where Mr. Arnott teaches school. Lula Maxwell attended the funeral of Emma Overton at Rensselaer last Tuesday. 4 There was a lady's hat found in the road near here last Saturday morning. The owner may recover the same by callinj; at office of Gwin and McCoy, proving the property, and complying with other rigid requests of Mr. Gwin. Mr. Pool shipped a carload of cattle and hogs to Chicago last Tuesday night. Ed Randle shipped a car load of hogs to Chicago last Wednesday night.
