Miss Dora English entertained a number of S. S w girls last Wednesday. Mesdames Miller, Freeman, Randle and Brown spent last Wednesday with Mrs. W. H. Miller in Union > Tp. Alfred Rusk is improving slowly from typhoid fever. Mr. Sample’s family have the mumps. Everett and Cecile Brown have returned to their respective schools after if Xmas vacation. J. R. Miller went to Winanjac Monday. Mrs. Sam Parker visited relatives at Monticello last week. Mrs. John Randle who has been quite sick is some better. The funeral of Mrs. Kettleberry was held at the M. E. church last Saturday conducted by H. C. Weston. Mrs. John Murray spent holidays with relatives in Ohio. Nell Maguire of Remington spent last week with Cecil Brown. • The Sunday schools elected officers last Sunday for the year, Mrs. J. N. Sample, Supt. of M. E. school and Orrie Wiles, Supt. of Christian sohool.
