hall last night. About 40 couples kwere present. The grand march lias led by Miss Ross of Terre H lute. At 12 o’clock an elegant sujper was spread at the’ Nowels House. Music was furnished by Eddy’s Chicago. Among those \ preserJ from abroad Were Missed,'/lanc\ and Grace Brown, of DanvkUe, Kll., Misses Rogers and JouvenMßLChicago, and L. F. and A. W. Hildas, of Chicago, Mi§> Dailey, Mr. Mftrks, Mr. Freyburg, of Lafayette, Mi&s Dwiggins, of lowa, Mrs Horner \f Denver. The dancing closed at 3:30 this morning. \ Everything was on the iriost elegant scale. The music cost 8100. The flowers about as nXuch more. Suppers 82 a couple. The guests were all called for and taken home in carriages. Altogether it was an entirely swell affair, and one not likely to bejexceeded soon in elegance and expensiveness.
