Eastern Star Installation.

Monday night at their hall the Eastern Star Chapter, in the presence of 200 members, of whom several were from abroad, installed the following officers for the ensuing year: A. R. Hopkins, W. P., Maude Spitler, A. M,, Hattie Dowler, Sec ; Alice Meyer, Treas.; Dora Hardman, A. C.; Lizzie Long, C ; Nellie Hopkins, Adah; Ada Crosscup, Ruth; Cora Nowels, Esther; Ara Penn, Martha; Hattie Hanley, W. M.; Leota Jones, E., Mary D. Eger, W.» Belle Spitler, S., Elizabeth Pnrcupile, C.; Mary C. Hopkins, organist; Blanche Chapman, marshal. Miss Laura Breckenridge, of Lafayette, conducted the installation ceremonies and she received many compliments for the way she did it. After this an elegant lunch was served and a literary and musical program was rendered, including solos by Mra. Geo. K." Hollingsworth and Miss Pearl Hollister.
