George H. Brown Heard From.
A Member of His Family Has Received A Letter. 1 " At last the long and distressing suspense regarding the possible fate of George H. Brown has been relieved. A member of the family here received a letter from him yesterday. The Republican is requested not, at present, to give the name of the relative who received the letter; nor will any information be made public as to Mr. Brown’s whereabouts. It is stated, however that he is alive and well and making preparations to go to Klondike. Mr. Brown is in the southern part of this state. Mr. Brown disappeared on tho 20th of October and thus it is nearly two months since he has been heard from. While we know nothing as to what reasons Mr. Brown can give for his strStoge course, it surely looks like very reprehensible conduct on his part to have given his wife, his mother and other near relatives all the anxiety and trouble they have experienced since his disappearance. In any case it surely will be a great relief to them to know, for a certainty, as they now do, that he is alive and well.
