Death of J. C. F. Dutton.

J. C. F. Dutton, one of Jordan Township’s best known and most highly respected citizens, died at his home, last Saturday morning, Dec. 11th., at the age of about 41 years. The disease that caused his death w T as inflamation of the bowels, and was of only 9 days’ duration. The deceased was the son of the late George Dutton. He was a bachelor and lived at the old Dutton homestead; with his aged mother, and an unmarried sister. He leaves a brother living some place in the west, and several sisters, one of whom is Mrs. Mary Mathena, of Rensselaer. He was buried Sunday afternoon here in Weston cemetery. By his own request no funeral services were held, other than a prayer at the grave.
