Notice of Election. Notice is hereby giv6n that on the evening of the 20th day of December A. D. 1897, A. L. 5897, an election will be by Prairie Lodge No. 125, F. & A. M., of Indiana, at its lodge hall in Rensselaer, Indiana, for the purpose of eleciing officers for the year 1898, which will include three trustees of said Lodge. W. J. Imes, Secretary.

Notice of Inquest. Notice is hereby given that on the sth dav of December, 1887, I was notified that a dead body of a person susposed to have come to his death by violence or casualty was within Jasper Countv, Indiana aufl after the coroner of said county being info med ofsuch body there being hejrequested that he was unable to act, and I as a qualified and acting Justice of ghe Peace in Walker Township, said County did at once on December 6. lt-97, proceed to hold an inquest over the said body. Alter hearing evidence, making inquiry and examining the body of said decedent I find that said body was that of William Wayne, that he came to his death on December 5, 1897 by being shot in the abdomen with a charge of powder and lead, discharged from a shotgun in the hands of John P. Swisher, hut that said discharge was wholly an accident, and wlteout any intention to injure said decedent. Said decedent was seventeen years of ege, five feet ten inches high, and weighed about one hundred and fifty pounds, dark complection and dark hair. I found no valuables on the person of said decedent Joel F. SrniGoa, Justice of the Peace.
