Death of D. J. Barker.
D. J. Barker died Friday forenoon, Dec. 10th, 1897, on the W T . H. Churchill farm, in Union Tp., of pleurisy, complicated with heart disease. His age was about 55 years. He leaves a wife and several grown up children. He has lived in this county three years, coming here from the southern part of the state, but he originally came from North Carolina. In religion he was a Quaker, being a preacher or exhorter in that faith. His funeral was held Satucday. Closing out sale on crockery, chenile goods, millinery etc., at C. A. Lecklider’s. Don’t fail to call and price goods.
