Henry Brockway Insane.

The County Clerk has received official notice that Squire Geo. W. Swisher has had arrested and declared insane and dangerous to be at large, one Henry Brockway, and placed him in care of a constable until the circuit court can take action. It is evident that the Squire got hold of the old and antiquated law about insanity procedure, and he will probably be advised to drop the proceedings thus far had and begin again under the more modem and sensible act. This old method takes an interminable time to get a lnnatic into the asylum, and is also very expensive. No particulars are given regarding Mr. Brockwmy’s condition, further than to declare that he is insane and dangerous to be at large. If we mistake not, Brockway’s wife was sent to an asylum a number of years ago, and we thjfnk, died there. The original affidavit charging Brockway with being insane was filed by our more or less distiuhis guislied ex-townsman. Frank X mark Batson.
