Has His Daddy’s Tricks.

It now appears that the Dr. Augustus Mendenhall, arrested at Warsaw, Saturday, for bigamy and taken to Jackson, Mich., is not the same old Indian who visited Rensselaer regularly about a year ago, but is the hopeful son of that noble old red. It is also stated that the practice of having a wife at 6very prominent stopping place is not an original idea upon the son’s part but that he inherited the plan from his father. The latter is estimated to have eleven living wives, all told. The old doctor has never been arrested, it is said.
