The Wrong Cow.

The joke is said to be on S M. Laßue because, a few evenings ago, having missed his cow he went out into the by-ways and found one he thought was his and drove her home and had her half milked, whem members of the family discovered that it was not his cow at all, but Wm. Eger’s. Still, as Mel had the cow half milked, and presumably the latter half at that, before the mistake was discovered it looks as though he was all right and that the joke was on Mr. Eger, whose supply of milk was thus abbreviated.
