Superintendent Hamilton of Rensselaer was in town on Wednesday of last week,. Dr. Schwier went to Logansport last Thursday. Wm. McNeil had a runaway last Thursday. Will and his buggy were laid up a few days for repairs. Dr. George Thompson, of Winamac, was in town last Friday. John O’Connor of Kniman was transacting business in town last Friday. Willie Graves has gone to Lighten 111., to spend the winter. Bennie Fendig of Rensselaer was in town Saturday. The dance at this place Saturday night was well attended and all report a good time. Sam Remley was visiting relatives in Barkley Tp. the last week. Mr. and Mrs. E. Jenson are spending the week with Mr. Jenson’s brother at San Pierre. Simon Fendig and wife Sundayed at the Luce Ranch. - Mr. and Mrs. Gert Hendrickson started for Owen and Shelbv counWes Monday morning where they will spend a few weeks visiting relatives. a band, and we don’t see any reason why we can’t. Let us have a band by all means. Harry Lightcap, has moved his hay curler in Charley Meyer’s hay barn where he will curl hay regardless of stormy weather.
