Pas at Parr Are Above Par.
The fact that Judge S. P. Thompson has been selling off lots in his town of Parr quite rapidly lately, together with the remarkable frequency of birth reports from Union Tp., has given rise to the rumor that his offer of one dollar for each
infant born on the Judge’s lands, in that township, with no rebates on twins or triplets, has so stimulated production in that line of industry, that the Judge has found it necessary to sell property at Parr, if not a little below par, in order to meet the frequent claims on his purse, arising from his baby bounty system.
