Mrs. Mary Greiner, an aged widow of Tiffin, Ohio, was burned to death in her home. The town of Corral Nuevo in Matanzas Province, Cuba, has been captured by the insurgents. Joseph Pulitzer, owner of the New York World, lies in his home nt Bar Harbor 1 , Me., in a critical Condition. Near Kansas City, Kan., John Dodds, white, shot and killed Edward Carter, colored, during a dispute over $lO. William Carr is on trial at Kansas City, Mo., on a charge of having murdered his infant daughter by drowning her. In New York, Charles M.
