Got a Broken Leg.

Saturday afternoon a party of 7 'or 8 men from Gifford’s district pulled out from herein a wagon, ■ and some of them at least are said to have been badly boozed up. Out about Barkley Church iheir team ran away and one of th© party, Ben Clouse, had the large bone of his right leg, below the ■ knee, broken in two... places. Another man Jake Nedler was thrown i out ami was at "first thought to be killed, but he soon revived and [did not even vall a physician. For Mr. Clpiise Drs. Schwier, of Wheatfield, and English, of Rensselaer. were called and set the broken bones. He was one of the hands on the Gifford dredge and is 'at R. E. Black's place, two miles north of the Gifford headquartersfarm. , '
