Getting Ready For Fires.

The city council Friday morning contracted with the New York Belting and Packing Co., for 1000 feet of 2i inch fire hose, two hose carts, two 1| inch and two 1 inch nozzles. All are of the very best make, and the hose is of an especially high grade quality, being the same as is used in Chicago.
