Death of Mrs. David Gasoway.
Mrs. Lucinda Gasoway, wife of David Gasoway, died Thursday night, Oct. 21st, about 5 o’clock, at their residence on Franklin St., north of the railroad. The disease that caused her death was paralysis. She had been in poor health for nearly a year, but the attack of sickness resulting in her death was only of about a week’s duration. The family has lived in Rensselaer only since last spring. Previous to that time they lived near Blackford, in Barkley Tp. Her age was 37 years and about 6 months. She leaves three children. The funeral was held at the residence, at 2:30 this, Friday, afternoon, conducted by Rev. A. E. Pierson. Interment was in Weston cemetery.
