Dr. Sandwas, a French physician, claims to have discovered a new system for increasing the range of a singer's vo|ge as much as two full notes In the upper or lower registera He obtains this change by inhalations of various aromatic vapors. Those of Curacao liquor are said to add volume to the high register, while vapors of a distilled extract of pine needles will benefit the lower notee.
