Weekly Weather and Crop Bulletin.
Fair weather continued, with no rain. Frost during several nights did injury to some corn fodder, late tomatoes and tender plants. Most corn was safe from frost, and it is nearly all cut and in shock; the crop is not as good as last year. Late tomatoes were hurt by frost. The potato crop is poor. Some buckwheat was injured by frost. [ Apples will make only a fair crop; . in some orchards the crop is poor. ; Early-sown wheat is not doing well; it is coming up unevenly; seeding progressed slowly; farmers can not wait much longer for rain, and I much seeding is being done in I dusty fields. Clover hulling con--1 tinues, with good crops in most ; localities; in some sections hulling ;is done. Pasturage is dry, and ■ stock is being fed. Hog cholera i prevails in Pulaski County; some I farmers have lost as many as 30 I head.
