Death of Mrs. James Grant.

Mrs. Eliza Grant, wife of Jameff W. Grant, died at her home two miles west of town, Sunday, at 5 oclock p. m., of dysentery, after three weeks sickness. Her age was 63 years, 2 months, 17 days. She was bom in Randolph Cothis state in 1834. The family removed to Huntington Co. in 1838 and she was there married to James W. Grant Nov. 28,1871, since which time she has lived as the place where her death occured. She was Mr. Grant’s second wife. She had no children but her husband and two stepsons survive * her. Also four brothers in Huntington Co. She joined the Christian church in 1851, and on coming to Rensselaer united with the Church of God. The funeral will be held Tuesday, at 10:30 a. m. at the Churchof God. Rev. F. L. Austin conducting the religious services.
