The Waterwork’s Meeting.

Thursday’s Daily. The City Council met with J. W. Ladd, last night, to consider the question of a waterworks ordinance. Mr. Ladd presented an ordinance drawn up by his attorney, Judge Wood, of Chicago. The ordinance is not-satisfactory to the council, in many respects, and a new ordinance will be prepared by Attoneys Foltz and Mills, and considered at next Monday night’s session. In the meantime Mr. Ladd will have his ordinance amended also. Today the Council and Mr. Ladd are revising the plans and specifications and getting them into I final shape.
