The Flag Will Float.

From The Topmost Tower Of Tfte Conrt House. The County Commissioners yesterday closed up a contract with W. 11. Rooney, superintendent of the iron work construction in the - court house, to erect a .steel flag pole on the top of the court house tower. The staff will be. 40 feet above the present top of the tower and the total height from its highest point to the ground level will be an even 200 feet. The cost of the staff will be $337.50. The difficulty of putting the staff up at this stage of the construction of the building adds greatly to its cost. In fact is the principal element. The flag for the staff is to be furnished by Van Rensselaer Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution.
