Married Last Evening.

Married at 8 o’clock Wednesday evening Sept. 15, 1897, Mr. Charles Ball and Miss Mary Rodgers, at the home of Parker Overton on Division St. The wedding was a quiet affair, no guests being present except their near relatives and intimate friends. The ceremony was performed by Rev. D. A. Tucker, of the F. W. Baptist church. They were the recipients of some very handsome and useful presents. Mr. and Mrs. Ball will at once commence'Yiouse-keeping in their handsome new home, just north of the railroad.
