Trustee of Union Towirehip. The count}' commissioners at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon, settled the question of the appointment of a township trustee for Union Township, to succeed David H. Yeoman, resigned, by the appointment of Barney D. Comer. He will hold this office till 1900, we understand'. Aaron E. Pierson was also a formidable candidate for the appointment, and in taking their ballot two of the commissioners voted for Mr. Comer and one for Mr. Pierson.
