Present, the member or his proxy, from each township in the eounty, ex pt Green, Harribon, Jackson, New Garden, Webster and Washington The Chairman proceeded to state the objects of the meeting; then,., upon motion, the following resolution was Unanimously adopted: ... . .. ... ;,- . . That the Chairman of this Committee be instructed to issue a call to the Republicans of this conn ty to meet in mass convention in the town of Centerville, at 10 a.m., on Saturday, June 6th, 1874, for the pur nose or an interchange ot views upon the political questions of the day, and for the selection of delegates to represent this county in the State Convention to be held on the 17th of June next, and to fix the time and manner of the selection of candidates for the various offices to be filled at the next general election in October, 1874.
