originator of the White Water Valley Association. Yet we J would remember the goodness and mercy of God in raising j up such a faithful laborer among us; we would cherish his j memory, and imitate his virtues ; for his laJora -were not in j vain in our midst, as laany of us are "seals to his ministry ; " j and we iimr enquire, who will take his place upon the walls of Zionf But while we mourn las loss, his is an eternal i gain. CIRCULAR LETTER, j Dkar Bkk niRBN. The importance of thorough work in i every department of worldly businesses now settled beyond dispute. May not we, who have tlie souls of thousands committed to our care, profit by their example ? A thorough ! work for God is demanded at our hands, from the fact that j when the soul has passed be3ond this probationary state, j there is no opportunity of rectifying mistakes.
