O-O -A.2ST3D SEE Andrew's and Oray's French and Spanish Pantomime Tronpe this evening Nov. 20, at the Starr Hall, Jannary Election Union Ticket.; It will be seen, by an announcement in another column, that the time for nominating a Union Ticket for this city is already at hand, and the friends of the vigorous prosecution of the war, and of the measures of the Government to bring it to a speedy termination, should be up and doing. The game of dividing and conquering we think is about played out in this city, and the line between the friends of the Administration and its opponents is distinctly drawn. Heretofore, no attention was paid to the selection of city officers, as to their political position; but last January taught a lesson that should be lasting. In each ward, the opposition was careful to have but one candidate, and they gave them single shots; while, practicing on a liberal scale, as they had always done, and ha. Ting two or three candidates in the field, the j unconditional Union men mixed their votes, and the consequence was that four members of the city council are confirmed butternuts and copperheads, and the position of the City Marthai is equivocal, to say the least he tries to carry water on both shoulders. This present Administration of the General Government, is prosecuting this war with all its energies it is fob the war until the rebellion is crushed then, and not until then will the war cease ; and he who is not for the Administration is ao a inst the war. There is no neutral ground patriots and traitors are the only two parties to this contest, and we want to see every man show his hand. . . - 1 f -A.-, an.i Ilia

Please allow me to say (tor you are probably misinformed.) that Mr. McGirr was mustered in Capt. Crawford's company of "Miuute Men," and served with it all through the campaign. The company was mustered in on Friday, and Saturday evening, Mr. McGirr, John Sedgwick, Whit Mitchell and II. C. Jones, were detailed as a guard for some deserters who were being sent to Louisville, Ky. They returned to Indianapolis Monday evening, just as the Uegiment was preparing to leave lor unio. The sale of the Plantation Bitters is without precedent in the history of the world. There is no secret in the matter. They are at once the
