The La'ayette Courier says tbt some lime ago the wife of a wealthy farmer in this State tIop d with a farm laborer; the deserted husband obtained divorce and After a time the sister j of the recreant wife, living on the adjoining farm, slowly drew his regard, and event ragged, his truant wile. Her father had turned his back on her, her paramour had ! fallen into drunkenness, hopeless and homef less, she as a last resort, returned to her forI mer happy home. The farmer called his ! wife, she would not 6ee her sister, bat a tear listened in the farmer's eye. He sup plied her wants and then built her a cabin on - the extreme end of his farm, where by the bounty she is still living out the remainder ; of her days in remorse at her crime and folly. A Woman lives six nays after Iter .eck was flrouen The Aurora ( (ii'l.) Commercial, mentions t,ie death of .Mrs. Lynn of that place, from j irj.irics received by accident, says: . t She lingered from Sunday morning unj til Saturday, when she died. The lart of was greatly injured. The effect was to par alrze the eutiie body and limbs leaving only tha head with vitality. Still she did not suffer greatly. Her greatest distress arose from a feeling as if a broad iron band was tightly compressed around the chest. Her brerthirig grew gradually more and more difficult, and at last, with a gentle sitfh. her srnril waa watted awav. This case presents such remarkable feaj tures that Dr. Sutton will report it for the i mtdical journals. j at - phSr The New York Tribune savs the DO - Cte?
