Several speeches will be made, and perhaps other exercis es to give interest to the meeting. jSrAoj person having a farm to rent can hear of a good tenant by calling at this office. anaV a " - Panorama of the Bible. We guarantee satisfaction ia all we sell, and respectfully solicit those accustomed to purchase at Cincinnati, to give us a call. We are also manufacturing a superior Cough Candy, a supply of which is constantly kept on hand. ———<>——— SAFE BURNING FLUID.—We have never heard but one objection urged against the use of Burning Fluid as a light, and that is its liability to explode and injure the clothes and persons of those who may unfortunately be near it at the time.— This objection is now entirely avoided, and there is no more danger from explosion than there is in a tallow candle. We have seen it tested in the most thorough manner, and are satisfied that Greenough's Carbonic Acid Gas Non-Explosive Burning Fluid, as now prepared at the Drug Store of J. S. Stiddom & Co., <cannot explode under any circumstances, any more than cold water can. This is an important improvement and will doubtless bring Fluid into general use. It is a good and cheap light, and Messrs. Stiddom & Co have the exclusive right for selling it in this county. ——<>——v New York. Stork. The New York Store is now receiving a new supply of New Fall Goods, direct from the Eastern markets, which have been selected with especial reference to this city, by a most experienced purchaser and one intimately acquainted with the wants of this commanity. We were shewn a few days since some leather shoes, which had, in the language of the shomaker, beeu "fitted" with one of Mr. Bellis' Sewing Machines, which demonstrated their ability for almost any kind of sewing work. It is emphatically a "general purpose" machine, aad can b used in the family or shop to any purpose which require? the ase of needle and thread. No family arrangement is complete without one of these machines. Call and see them at work , The ladies aro especially iuvited to call at Beltis' shop. sT-Starr Si White are prepared t- put op all kinds of gas fixtures on short notice and on the most reasonable terms.
