C5odey had accomplished his mission for the people: a further service had been prescribed him, that of going to the camp on the river, at the base of the groat mountain, to recover the most valuable of the baggage, secreted there. I MIE Great Remedy for Consumption of the Lungs, Affections of the Liver, Asthma, Bronchitis, Painsor Weakness of the Breast or Lungs, and nil other Affections of the Pulme' uary Organs. IMPORTANT CAUTION. Beware of base counterfeit of Wistar's Balsam of Wild Cherry, signed by one Win. M. Speer, who, in order to palm hi rile immitation upon the public ha obtained e similie of our bottle, and co. ied our label of directions cerielim, substituting his own name for that of Henry Wistar, M. D. which Is found ou tlie genuine. Remember, the outside label or wrapper of the genuine Balsam is a finely executed steel plate engraving bearing the signature of Henry Wistar, M. P. i and Sauford At Park none other cau be genuine. TtsTisioxYor Doctors i favor of Dr. Wihtar's Balsam or Wild Chmrv. Exrtar, Me., Sep. 30, 1&35. This certifies that I hare reeom mended the use of Dr. Wistar'e Balaam of Wild Cherry for diseases of the lungs for two years past,, and many bottles to my knowledge, hare been used by my patient, with beneficial results. In two cases where it was thought confirmed consumption had taken place, the Wild Cherry effected a cure. E. BOYDEN, Physician st., Exeter Corner. Dr. Wm. A. Shaw, of Washington. N. C, write uuder date of May 1, 1846, as follows: "I have heard of many cases of decided beneficial effects from its use, especially iu aslhama and chronic cough of spasmodic character. I have used the Wild Cherry a great deal in practice, and with marked good result iu those ease of great nervous mobility and irritability te which pthisical patients are subject. The com bination of these principle in vVisfar'e Balsam: of Wild Cherry is ingenious and judicious." Dr. Hoffman, Huntington, Pa., cured a child1 of asthma with it, after lie declared he could do no mote with his medicine, aud the child must die. Dr. Freleigh, of Sangertie, N. Y. says he cured a complaint of four year standing, that would not yield to the usual remedies. Abraham Skillman, M. D , of Round brook, N. J. say it i the best medicine for consumption in every stage that he has ever known. We might refer you to hundreds of cases, had wo room, that would convince all of its great virtues. Ai.dbobo. July 30, 1845. 0k or the Most Remark aslz Ccris ox Record. Dear Sir: Having experienced great benefit from your invaluable medicine, I feel it my doty and privilege to let the world know what it ha doue for me. Possessed of a strong constitution naturally, I enjoyed perfect health previous to tho spring of 1843, when I was troubled with a difficulty in my left side attended with considerable pain. Sometime in July I was violently attacked with a cough which continued until fall; then I wa confined to the house for eight months, during which time my cough wss very severe.1 frequently had ip-'il of coug'iing which looted two bours.aud raised larBe quantities of drsagreeable matter accompanied with blood. Soinetiniej I raised a quart of blood ot a time. I consulted three physicians, all of whom did their best to restore me; garo me up; said they ceo Id do no more for mo; I must die; it was impoosiblo for tne to live bat a short time. One of the as said my Inngs were gone. At this critical moment when eminent physicians had exhausted their skill, friends despaired of my life, and my hope of recovery at aa end, I resorted to DR. WISTAR'S BALSAM OF WILD CHERRY. When I had taken one and half bottle, those severe spell of conging were remored. 1 continued to take the Balsam antit the spring of 1644, when I ceased to bleed at tho laafe; wry health and strength improved so that 1 wa able to leave the boose, bat was not able to work for a year; Now my health is good I am able ta do a day's work everyday oa my farm. -.JAMES COMER Y.
