f litter. Pollock, and Crabtm'i Poetical If or Its, complete 'in one volume. Among the beautiful, valuable, and intereaiing volumes which tne enterprise and taste of our pub -iisl.ers have presented to the reading community, we have
seldom met with one which we have more cordially greeted and can more confidently and satisfactorily recommend, than that, embracing in a single, substantial, well-bound and handsomely printed octavo, the poetical work of Bishop Heber, Robert Pollock, and the Rev. George Crabbe. Whit a constellation of poetic ardor, glowing piety, and intellectual brilliancy ! t"ach writers require ne eology. Their fame is established and nnivera. The sublimity, pathos, and piety of al! these writers, have given them a r?nk at once with the lovers of poetry and the friend of reii'ion, unsurpassed perhaps by that of any other recent authors in our lant-'jai-e. A more delightful addition could scarcely he made to the library of the gentleman or lady of taste and refinement. The prize poems, hymns, and miscellaneo us writings ol Bishop Heber, the 'Couree of Time by Pollock, and the rich, various, and splendid production of the Rev. George Crabbe, are among the standard works, the classics of our lang iaga. To obtain and preserve them in one volume, cannot but be a desirable object lo their admirers. And it it to be hoped it will be fojnd in the !i"raryof e-er fsraily.
