one of the great avenues of progress because the church-does not meet the full requirements of what we think it should? Are we sfandinsr on the out-
side and hurling criticisms at an institution which we have not helped in any way to improve or build up? The church is the only avenue provided by man through which we may receive organized help in living a GJiristian life. ' . Would you like to live in a community where there are no churches? The answer is plain. The church in.. any community is the fountain head of constructive thoughts from which radiate waves of influence which permeate eg2ry individual life. The church places its stamp upon every community. Let us consider carefully what we are doing in the way of personal jservice in adding our might in the improvement of the church and the extension of its influence? Are we doing our full duty? Are we doing our share in passing on to others the benefits that have been bestowed upon us by those who have made sacrifices that our lives may be made better, and consequently happier?, There must be some duty resting upon every individual.
