GRAIN PRICES (Markets bv Lameon Bros. & Co., 212 Union National Ban Building.) CHICAGO, Feb. 10. After a comparatively narrow range for the greater part of today's session, wheat tumpd strong in the last half hour and held practically all of the gain at the close. All deliveries reached new high levels on the present advance and September sold at the best prices for the sC?a.on. Receipts continue to decline as compared with last week and last year, and milling demand is well sustained. Com continued its upward movement and again scored a high record for the crop. The cash market was firm and despite the heavy purchases of corn to arrive and con&euuent hedging pressure, the undertone of the futures market was firm. Oats were probably the feature grain with July by investors of both May and July by investors and cash interest. Tired holders were the principle sellers of. oats RANGE OF FUTURES (Markets by Lamson Bros. & Co, 12 Union National Bank Bunding.) rwiNvj Tfc.r RICHMOND RAIL MEN DEFEAT ZANESVILLE IN SNAPPY CONTEST ZANESVILLE. Ohio, Feb. 10. Richmond division Pennsy net five gave the local division quintet a good drubbing here Friday night, overwhelming the Zanesville crew by a 40 to 18 score. The game wag well played from every standpoint, and many claim that this contest was the cleanest game ever witnessed on the local floor. The visitors started out with a puzzling offense, scoring time and again, before the locals- realized that they w'sre pitted against a speedy quintet. After the first five minutes, the locals were on the defense throughout the remainder of the fray and rarely got the ball past the center of the floor for a short shot, making most of their points by long ehota from the center of the floor. Scoring Evenly Divided The scoring was evenly divided among the winners, Lamb, Williams, Samuels and Ivey connecting with persistent regularity Martin at backguard for the visitors was the best backguard ever seen in action on the local floor, breaking up play after play or tne Buckeyes ana getting tne bail down the floor to his forwards in fine style. Jackson and Stephson were the most consistent point-getters for the losers. The first half ended 20 to 8.
