ABERNATHY ELECTED ANTI-TUBERCULOSIS

CHAIRMAN IN UNION

LIBERTY, Ind.. Feb. 9. Offices of the Union County Anti-Tuberculosis society have been elected to serve during 1923. C. C. Abernathy Is named chairman; Dr. F. T. Dubois, vice-chairman; Mrs. George Coughlin. secretary, and Miss Vivian Douthitt, treasurer. Red Cross seals sold during the 1922 campaign reached a total of $1C9.04, according to a report submitted. Thirty per cent of this sum, or $f0.71, goes to the Btate association, while the remainder, less the expense of the campaign, $18.33, goes to the county society. Sale of seals was conducted in 1922 in Union county schools. Two prizes were offered for the largest sales. Room No. 3 in the Liberty school,

taught by Miss Georgia Hollingsworth, and the Smith school in Union township, taught by Miss Ethel Prifogle, were the winners.
