Goue's Own "Method
By EMILECOUE (Translated into English from the original French text) (Copyright. 1922. by Malkan Publishing Company, Inc.)
Mrs. Jousselin, 60 years old. rue des Dominicains 6, came to me oa July 20, 1917. complaining of a violent &.in in the right leg and a considerable swell
ing of the entire limb. She could only! dra? herself alonj moaning with pain.i After the treatment she could, to her great astonishment, walk normally without feeling the least pain. When she came again four days later, she said that she had no pain in the interval and the swelling had subsided. This woman informed me that since coming to my house she had also been cured of other troubles from which she had suffered a long time. In November the cure was still holding good. - Mrs. Martin, Grande Rue (Ville Vieille) 105. Inflamation of 13 years' standing, accompanied by pains. First consultation on Nov. 15, 1917, and regular weekly visits thereafter. The patient felt better after the first treatment and Improved repidly until, in the beginning of January, 1918, the inflammation had completely disappeared. A pain in the knee which the patient had also had for 13 years, had disappeared likewise. Mrs. M, 43 years, rue d'Amance 2, Malzville, came toward the end of 1916 complaining of violent headaches which she had almost all her life. After a few t is its the pains had entirely disappeared. Cured a Disease She Didn't Mention About two months afterward she ncn
ticed that she was also cured of an
other difficulty of which she had said
nothing to me and to which she gave
no thought when making her autosug
gestions. (This result is due to the words "In every way," contained in the formula to be repeated mornings and
evenings).
Mrs. D.. Chotsy-le-Itoi, had only one
general suggestion on my part and thereafter made her autosuggestions
morning and evening. In October of the same year this lady informed me that she was cured of a difficulty
which had troubled her for 20 years.
ln to 1920 the cure Is still permanent
(Same remark as in the preceding
case).
Mrs. R..- of Chavigny, suffered in
flammation for 10 years. Came to me
end of July, 1916. There was an im
mediate improvement, the pain diminished rapidly and by the 20rh of Sep
tember both had disappeared.
LETTERS ABOUT M. COUE'S WORK
Sent to Mme. Emile Leon or Mile Kaufmant, Disciples Paris
For some time I have been wanting
Sapristi! How wretched I used to be. I was unable to digest anything, whatever it was; now I digest everything and the intestinal functions are natural. Moreover. I suffered from inso-
mania and now the rights are not long
enough. I could not work at all; now
I am capable of doing all kinds of hard
work. Of all my ailments nothing re
mains but an occasional slight touch
of rheumatism, but I am sure that by
the continued use of your splendid method that also will disappear as ev
erything else did. I cannot find proper words to express my deep gratitude to you. '
Mme. Fnry, Boulevard Malesherbes.
Tells of Victim of Tuberculosis
Nice, 1913. Feeling better and better since I
have followed the method of autosug-! gestion, I consider it my duty to thank you most heartily. I am now qualified
to speak of the great and undeniable
advantages of this method, as it alone
put me on the road to recovery. My illness consisted of a lesion in the lungs, which caused spitting of blood, and. in addition I had no appetjte for anything, vomiting daily, became a mere skeleton and sufered from obstin
ate constipation. The spitting of blood lessened almost injniediately and soon stopped entirely; the vomiting ceased, constipation disappeared, my appetite came back and in two months I gained 12 pounds. In the presence of such results, observed not only by my parents and friends but also by the doctor who attended me for several months, it is impossib'ji to deny the good effects of autosuggestion and I must declare publicly that I owe my return to life to your method. You are -authorized to use my name if I can be of service to others. With deep gratitude I beg to remain, yours most gratefully, Jeanne Gilli, 15 Avenue Borriglione.

any moment the spitting of blood ceased, his appetite returned and, after you had made a few more visits to his sickbed all the organs gradually resumed their normal functions. Finally we had the pleasant surprise of seeing him arrive one day at your private clinic, where, before those present, he himself told the story of his wonderful cure, ascribing it to your personal intervention. I thank you from the very bottom of my heart. Gratefully yours, A. Kettner, 26 Avenue Borriglione. Tomorrow Cures of Cases of Heart Disease.
