One of the pretty weddings of the
holiday season took place Tuesday evening at 7:30 o'clock, when Mis3 Ruth Jones and Richard Kenworthy were united in marriage with a pretty ceremony at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Jones, 520 South Twelfth street. The Rev. A. L. Stamper, pastor of the First Christian church officiated. There were no attendants. The bride wore a gown of white crepe de chine simply fashioned over which fell a long tulle veil. Her flowers were white rosebuds. Mr. and Mrs. Kenworthy left immediately after the ceremony on a short wedding trip. They will be at home after January first at 112 North Twenty-second street. The quests who attended the

The Criterion club was delightfully
entertained Tuesday afternoon by Mrs. A. B. Price. A talk on the Oberammergau Passion play was given by Mrs. Homer L. .Morris. Exchange of gifts was held. An elaborate luncheon prettily appointed ia the Christmas colors was served later by the hostess. The Aftermath was entertained by Mrs. Thomas Tarkleson at her home on South Fourteenth street Wednesday afternoon. The program included a paper on "The Boxer Movement" by Mrs. Edwin Jay and one on "The New Republic of China," by Mrs. William N. Trueblood. Later refreshments were served by the hostess. The T. and T. Sheephead club members were guests at a lovely Christmas party given Tuesday afternoon at the
home of Mrs. Will Van Etten. Decorations in keeping with the Yuletide season were attractively used throughout the residence, Luncheon was senred later. The table was ornamented with a miniature tree, holly and greenery, and lighted by candles. A Christmas exchange was held. The guests Included Mrs. Frank Ayers, Mrs. Ben Sostemeyer, Mrs. Estelle Routh, Mrs. Ben ' Englebert, of Cambridge City, Mrs. Will Van Etten, Mrs. P. Oates, Mrs. Geier, Mrs. AX Korthaus, Mrs. L. Taube, Mrs. G. Bertram, Mrs. Guy Atchley, and Mrs. Harry Metz. Mrs. B. Uphaus is to be the next hostess.
Miss Elizabeth Kolp's classes in fancy dancing will meet Saturday af
ternoon at the Eagles' hall. No pro-; gram will be presented but persons interested in watching the classes will be welcome. The Omicron Pi Sigma fraternity will be host for a notable event Thursday evening when it entertains a party of guests at a dance in the I. O. O. F. hall. The Riley orchestra of Muncie, will furnish .the music. The affair will be private. All persons receiving invitations will be guests of
the fraternity. Refreshments will be served during the evening. Dancing
will be from 9 to 1 o'clock. The bal
cony will be closed. The committee
for the dance is composed of Robert Rees, Robert Phillips, Henry Zeitz and
Carl Moore.

Mr. and Mrs. Bert Kolp Friday even ing from 9 to 12 o'clock at the I. O. O
F, hall. The Jesse Halberstadt orchestra will play. The balcony will be open
to spectators. The Knights of Pythias will give a Christmas dance Thursday evening at their hall on South Eighth street.Miller"s orchestra will play. The public is invited to attend. Mollencup's Society orchestra, which
has been obtained for the fourth annual Ornis Melas dance Christmas

Issued for the dance and it is anticipated as one of the most important events of the season by members Jof the younger set. j The Oriole Terrace orchestra which appears in a concert and dance program, Dec. 28, at the Coliseum, under auspices of the Phi Delta Kappa fraternity is unique in the fact that it is made up of soloists and composers. Ted Fiorito, the pianist and coach, is known as the composer of many popular melodies, among them, "Lips," "Rainbow," "Soothing" and "Love Bird." The incidental music for David Waik Griffith's production of "Dream Street" was also written by Fiorito.
