AUDITOR OF PREBLE TO ATTEND ALL-DAY STATE TAX SESSION

EATON, Ohio, Nov. 24. County Auditor S. C. Hunt, with other county auditors in the state, will attend an all-day and evening meeting of the Btate tax commission In Columbus, Dec. 5. Auditor Hunt will remain over in Columbus the next two days to attend the C3th, annual meeting of the Ohio County Auditors association. Miss Edith Parks, of Willshlre, district V. R. C. Inspector, inspected Mulharen-OCain post, W. IL C, here Thursday night At the conclusion of the inspection, a social session was held and refreshments were served. : Almost three months have elapsed since the last run was made by the fire department. To be exact, the last run was on Sept 3. The fire loss in Eaton has been almost negligible within the last year. This is due to carefulness on the part of the people, according to the belief of Fire Chief George Shaver.

Workings of the federal farm loan act were fully explained by A. R Stokesbury, appraiser for the Federal Farm Loan bank at Louisville, Ky.. in a meeting here Thursday afternoon, which was arraneed for by County

Agent E. D. Turner.. There was a liberal attendance of farmers at the
