MURRAY Shakespeare with a humorous twist can be seen at the Murray theatre, where the new. Will Rogers picture, "Doubling for Romeo," 1b shown. Ia thla Ooldwyn. picture, which was writlea by Elmer Rice and directed by Clarence Badger, all the sub-titles were written by Will Rogers, He Is nationally known as an original humorist, and his titles are said to be the funniest parodies an Shakespeare ever written. The story tells the trials of a bashful cowboy lover to win the affections of a western girl. But she has "movie" ideas about a lover, and . sends her cowboy to the "movies" to learn how to make love. What happens to him there, as well as his adventures as a cowboy Romeo, make thla latest Rogers picture one of the most delightful comedies that Goldwya has ever produced. Many remarkably fine settings tn "Doubling for Romeo," such aa the ballroom and balcony scenes, were designed by Cedrlc Glbboss of the Goldwyn art department. MURRETTE "The Storm," the Universal-Jewel at. traction which has won widespread commendation as the outstanding screen success of the year, is playing

at the Murrette theatre. An all-star

cast, headed by House Peters, makes

the screen Tersion of Langdon Mo-

Connies: s world famous play, aa artistic triumph that holds the spectator spellbound. Virginia Valli and. Matt

Moore play the chief supporting roles

In fact this stellar trio carry the bur

den or the majority of the ecene3. With the action of the storm laid in

the northern Canadian, woods, exceptional opportunities were offered for intense dramatic scenes, and Director

Reginald Barker took full advantage f of each chance to build up the suspense element The forest fire scene, in which the flames sweep along in laps and spurts, is magnificent and exceeds the thrilling mechanical forest ' fire given In the stage presentation. Photoplay critics ia New York, Chicago, and other metropolitan cities have been unanimous in their praise of the greatness of this UniversalJewel and Manager Holland of the Murrette theatre is to be congratulated upon showing it here. i . Again and again they are called forward fo,"just one more number," An unusual offering is given by two boys billed as "The Leightons," who step forward with first a guitar and
